FAQs

  •  What are the benefits of drip irrigation system?

Drip irrigation allows for more targeted, water efficient irrigation systems for your garden. Rather than installing sprinkler heads that cover a wide area with water, drip irrigation slowly and steadily irrigates the soil right at your plant’s roots so they receive the maximum benefit. We recommend drip irrigation systems for smaller scale landscapes, like your back porch or front yard landscape beds, where you have particular plant life requiring varying levels of water.

  • When should I winterize my lawn irrigation?

Ideally, your system needs to be winterized before fall temperatures begin to get dangerously close to freezing. With how unpredictable Midwest weather can be, we recommend getting those systems winterized sooner rather than later. An early winterization is a small price to pay in order to avoid an entire system replacement because your pipes froze over and split!

  • How much does a residential sprinkler typically cost?

The cost of a sprinkler system will vary from property to property. Various factors like total acreage, soil consistency, choice in sprinkler materials & sprinkler heads, and pre-existing underground installations can all affect the degree of difficulty for an installation project. That’s why to answer this question we require you to set up a free cost estimate with us. One of our trained staff members will come to your property, discuss your specific needs, and evaluate your property as a whole in order to give you an accurate prediction of your total cost.

  • Will my yard be damaged if I install a sprinkler system?

No! Obviously, some digging and machinery is required in order to install a sprinkler system underground, but our customer service focus has always been to “leave your yard looking better than when we first arrived.” That means no observable damage to your yard or grass by the time the install is complete. All of our lines will be reburied, holes filled, and your yard will look pristine for years to come.

  • How do I know if my sprinkler has a leak?

The common signs of a water leak include:

    1. Increased water bill

    2. Low water pressure inside your house

    3. Flooded spots in your lawn

  • Will you program my automatic sprinkler system?
